On April 9, ina Consulting & Coaching, in collaboration with our partner Technology Office, will be delivering a joint presentation for the DJW (Japanese-German Business Association) Intercultural Management Group.

The session is titled: “Bridging the Gap – How Cultural Understanding and Technological Insight Accelerate JP–EU Innovation Projects.”

In Japanese-German (and broader JP-EU) collaborations, technical hurdles and cultural nuances are often deeply intertwined. Challenges such as R&D methodologies, decision-making processes, escalation timing, and project velocity are rarely just technical issues; they are complex, multi-layered problems rooted in intercultural differences.

Drawing on real-world case studies, we will explore where these "invisible gaps" occur and how they can lead to project delays and misunderstandings. Furthermore, we will demonstrate how integrating intercultural management with technical expertise can significantly enhance both the quality and speed of your projects. This session offers a unique look at the potential of a "one-stop approach"—addressing both communication and technology as a single, unified strategy.

We look forward to providing DJW members with practical insights to drive more successful Japan-Europe collaborations. We hope to see you there!
